As they say “change is inevitable” and the recent covid-19 pandemic has only proved the statement! Of course, it isn’t the most pleasant change that we’re facing, but since we’re bound to go through it we might as well accept it and find a way around it, that suggests keeping ourselves and our loved ones safe and sound.

As the world opens up and businesses are up and running again, it is obvious that even though we’re gearing up to go back to the good old working days after the long claustrophobic break that we were forced into, we’re still fearful of being prey to the disease. Neither do we want to catch the virus ourselves, nor do we want to take it home to our loved ones- which is why, here we have some tips for you to follow in order to ensure your safety along with others’.

It may be tedious and time taking and with 24 hours a day just not seeming to be enough for most of us it may become a little frustrating, but it is important to maintain good hygiene standards by doing our best to keep the virus away from us.

Without a doubt, masks and sanitizers have now become part of our daily wear and we have no option but to ensure that we have them on us before going outdoors. With various apparel brands now producing masks of different patterns and interesting quotes, it is certain that they are here to stay, for a long-long while.

While travelling, it is good to take the option of commuting in your own vehicle if that possibility exists, otherwise going ahead with a private cab such as an Uber or an Ola is ideal.

Wearing gloves is definitely suggested if you’re commuting via public transport. If public transport is what you’ve opted for your commute, then maintaining a distance of 6 feet is advised. Also, in case you find people violating the social distancing rule in public vehicles, then do report the same.

Once you reach your place of work, do make sure to sanitize your hands before entering and keep in mind not to overpopulate a confined space such as an elevator. It may be a good idea to go to your desk with minimal physical contact with stationary things on the way. Even at work, maintaining a good 6 foot distance from your colleagues is suggested and avoiding going in clusters for breaks can be beneficial.

In order to avoid over population from encompassing you, leaving your place of work early can help. Don’t go home at a time when the curfew period is just about to begin, since most people may be rushing back during those hours, which is a bad situation to be in if you’re taking public transport facilities.

Once you reach home, leave your footwear outside. Changing into another outfit immediately after washing your hands is a great option. Leaving your mask at a designated place or washing it if it is washable is suggested.

In case you have a bad feeling about coming down with a viral fever, confine yourself to your room as much as possible in order to avoid spreading it to your family. In a time like this, it is important to be there for each other and ensure that we avoid the spread as much as we individually can.
